Calling all knights and dames! We challenge you to come to the library and complete the courses that we have set up! Only the bravest and strongest will prevail!

Bring your favorite tabletop game or play one from the Library’s collection. You bring the competition and we’ll bring the snacks! We'll meet in the Community Room on the Lower Level of the Library (use the Auditorium entrance).

Introducing sensory friendly movies at the library, where every person is welcome to enjoy a movie in our theater. Our Sensory Friendly Movies are shown without previews, with the volume down and the lights on.

Come to the library on Wednesday, July 24th between 9:30-11:30 AM to learn about and look at the different trucks that keep our city running at our annual Touch-a-Truck event.

Young ones and their families are invited to the Youth Services Story Room for a Family Night building with Blue Blocks! What are Blue Blocks?

Join us for Move and Groove to read a story, sing and dance to fun action songs, and participate in movement activities! We will meet Thursdays at 10:30 in the library lawn under the west portico of the staff parking lot.

Stop into Youth Services Makers Space to enjoy a cool truck craft! This craft is a great way to make trucks that resemble those from Touch-A-Truck! Materials for these crafts will be available between 11 am and 7 pm.

En garde! Join the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library and the Bay Regional Fencing Alliance in a fun fencing demo! Afterwards create your own foam sword!

Parent supervision required.

Here at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library we believe in reading the book before you watch the movie. Join us for our summer book club series where you read the book, and then we show the movie!

Oh no! We're trapped in the Space Station and we need your help to get out! Join us in the Teen Room in groups of 2-6 to try the newest escape game at the library!

This is a drop-in program, so no registration is necessary.

Join fellow book lovers for a book club … with a twist! Each month, we'll pick a different theme or genre.
