Animal Advocates- Learn how to become spokespeople for local animal shelters or rescue organizations to promote shelter adoptions and spay/neuter programs or advocate against animal abuse.
Mutt-i-grees is a program that is designed to teach social and emotional learning in a wide range of youth ages to develop empathy, resiliency, and an awareness of oneself and others, creating a more humane future. The curriculum was developed in partnership with Yale University, and is being presented by the Legacy Center for Community Success and Humane Society of Midland County. For 4th - 7th graders. Parents welcome. Registration required for child only.
