Join GADML online as we celebrate Women's History Month and present a joint virtual program with the Midland Genealogical Society: Finding Females and that Elusive Maiden Name with genealogist Kristin Wenger.

Women represent half of our ancestors; yet, their identities and life stories often prove much more difficult to find than those of men. In this engaging and interactive session, we’ll learn why females can be challenging to research and walk through a step-by-step plan to uncover more information about the mysterious ladies in your family tree. Full of interesting record examples, photographs, and methodology demonstration, this presentation will equip and inspire you to find the stories of your female ancestors!

The event will take place over Zoom on March 16, 2022 at 7pm. Registration will begin on March 9 at gadml.librarycalendar.com. This virtual program is presented jointly with the Midland Genealogical Society(www.mimgs.org). You will be emailed a Zoom link to participate 24 hours ahead. Last-minute registrants will be emailed a link at 4pm on the day of the event.
