Here at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library we believe in reading the book before you watch the movie. Join us for our summer book club series where you read the book, and then we show the movie! Read the book as a family or on your own before the movie showing dates to really enjoy the whole experience. This is a drop-in program.
Where the Wild Things Are By: Maurice Sendak
A young boy named Max is sent to his room after causing havoc in his house. From his bed he sets sail to an island that is inhabited by the Wild Things. They name Max king and start causing rumpus on the island. Max is having fun until he smells warm dinner and decides that it may be a good idea to head home.
