Join us every month as we host fun book and technology based programming exclusively for middle schoolers! This month:

Hungry and obsessed with graphic novels? Us too! Join us for Pizza and Pages where we eat pizza and talk exclusively about graphic novels.

This month we will be discussing Sunny Side Up, by Jennifer Holm and Matthew Holm. Set in the 1970s, this graphic novel memoir, follows, Sunny the summer she is sent to live with her grandfather in his retirement community in Florida. Sunny thinks Florida is boring until she meets Buzz. Sunny and Buzz become friends and spend the summer reading superhero comics but Sunny can't keep the truth about why she is in Florida in the first place a secret forever.
