Program Description

Event Details

Pizza and Pages is a theme-based book club open to all middle school aged readers. Every month we pick a theme and provide the pizza. You read a book of your choice and together we talk books, make crafts, and play games. Whether you are an avid reader or a reluctant reader, Pizza and Pages has a place for you!

This month, Pizza and Pages will meet in the Teen Room. Please meet at the YS Desk and we will walk down together.

February: Don't Judge a Book by its Movie

Books are frequently used as inspiration for the plots of blockbuster films, but does the silver screen version stack up to its literary counterpart? You be the judge! Read a book that has been made into a movie, and let's talk about how they compare.

Not sure what to read? Click here for suggestions! (If you don't see the movie that goes with the book, ask us if its available from another library or check a streaming service.)

*Registration is required. Registration starts at 6 AM on the fifteenth day of the month prior to the program date. Register at gadml.librarycalendar.com or call us at (989) 837-3466.
