Event Details

Something to Talk About- Learn about how animal shelters use social media and technology to promote their cause. Social media and other technologies help shelters and rescue organizations connect to the larger community and collaborate on behalf of animals. HSOMC Marketing Manager, Meghan Lupo, and her dog Jade, will join us to discuss how HSOMC uses social media and other technology to help promote their cause, raise funds, and find homes for shelter pets. 

Mutt-i-grees® is a program that is designed to teach social and emotional learning in a wide range of youth ages to develop empathy, resiliency, and an awareness of oneself and others, creating a more humane future. The curriculum was developed by North Shore Animal League America in collaboration with Yale University, and is being presented by the Legacy Center for Community Success and Humane Society of Midland County. For ages 9-13 years. Parents welcome. Registration required for child only.
