Program Description

Event Details

Calling all high school students! Join community members and field experts at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library on your day off from school for a full day of life skills!

Participants will have a chance to pick the sessions that most interest them while earning 5 volunteer hours and enjoying a free lunch with their friends.

An email is required for registration. You will receive a session selection form email link after you register.

Completing the form is required and counts as registration.

 

Symposium Schedule:

10:00am: Welcome/Packet Pickup/Introduction to Library Resources

10:30am: Session 1

11:30am: Session 2

12:30pm: Lunch/College Fair

1:00pm: Session 3

2:00pm: Session 4

3:00pm: Symposium Concludes

 

Session Details:

Trade Schools - Trade school is a post-graduate opportunity. Learn all about trade schools, work force opportunities, and the benefits these schools afford you. This session is presented by United Association Local Union 85.
