Event Details

Grace A. Dow was a life-long philanthropist and an active community member. She championed educational, religious, and social initiatives to improve the lives of others in Midland. Utilizing materials preserved in The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation Archive, Dow Gardens Historian, Emily Radlinski, will share about the life of Grace Dow, her devotion to service in our community, and her particular interest in and support of Midland’s Library Association.

Last year marked the 125th anniversary of library service in Midland Michigan and 70 years in the current building.
