Are you a foodie? Do you enjoy trying new recipes? Join us for GADML's brand new Cookbook Club! We will meet in the Community Room from 6 to 7:15 pm. Participants will prepare one dish from a specific author/chef and bring it to the meeting to share, potluck style. We will nibble, socialize and discuss what we made. Participants' names will also be entered into a drawing for prizes!
December's feature food is cookies! We will be doing a cookie exchange.
Cookie Exchange Rules:
1. All cookies should be homemade.
2. Please bring 2-3 cookies for 20 friends packaged in ziplock bags to allow for a “touch free” exchange. Bring extras for tasting. Arrange them on a platter.
3. Print out a copy of your recipe to share.
4. Bring a large container to carry away your cookies.
5. Register your cookie selection to avoid duplication.
6. Christmas attire is encouraged! Light snacks provided.
7. Have fun and eat delicious cookies with friends.
Recipes can be found either in books or on the internet. A library display will have several book options for you to check out after November 15th.
20 slots available. Registration is required and will be open from 9 am on November 15th through 9 pm on December 9th at http://gadml.librarycalendar.com or by calling the Reference Desk at 989-837-3449. Registration is for one session only.
